Terms of Service

These terms apply when you play Hollow Woods (the "Game") in your web browser, use hollowwoodsgame.com (the "Site"), or buy optional in-game items. The Game is made and operated by MD Jahid Hasan, Khulna, Bangladesh ("we", "us"). By playing the Game or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

1. Playing the Game

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. The Game is free to play. You may stream the Game and share videos and screenshots of it.

You agree not to copy, sell, rehost or redistribute the Game or its files, reverse engineer it to make a competing product, use cheats or tools to obtain paid items without paying, or use the Game or Site for anything unlawful.

2. Age

The Game contains horror themes and pixel-art violence and is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, get permission from a parent or guardian before making a purchase.

3. Optional purchases

You can buy optional digital items for the Game, such as crystals (the in-game currency), item packs, the Hunt Pass Premium track and Remove Ads. Current items and prices are listed in the Game's Store and on the Store section of this Site.

• Payment. Purchases are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its buyer terms. Lemon Squeezy charges your payment method, adds any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt.
• Delivery. Each purchase is delivered instantly as a license key, shown on your receipt and sent by email. You unlock the item by entering the key in the Game (Store → Redeem or restore a key).
• Keys. Each key works on one device. Crystal packs can be redeemed once. Restorable items (Hunter's Bane Pack, Hunt Pass Premium and Remove Ads) can be restored on the same key if you clear your browser data or reinstall. Keep your key private; anyone who has it can redeem it.
• No cash value. Crystals and other in-game items are a limited license to use content inside the Game. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold to other people.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Your progress and account

Without an account, your progress is saved only on your device, and we can't recover it if it's deleted, apart from restoring restorable purchases with your key. With an optional free account, your progress is also saved to your account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. Hunter names must not be offensive or impersonate others. We may remove names or scores that break this, or scores that look cheated. We may change, rebalance or remove game content in updates. If an update removes a paid item you own, we'll replace it with something of similar value or offer a refund.

5. Ads

The browser version of the Game shows ads, including optional rewarded ads that give in-game rewards. Ad content comes from third parties, and we are not responsible for it. See our Privacy Policy for how ads use data.

6. Ownership

The Game, its art, music, sound, code, names and logos belong to us. These terms don't give you ownership of any of it.

7. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the Game and Site running, but we provide them "as is" and "as available". We can't promise they will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Game or Site, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending access

You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or disable license keys obtained by fraud, chargeback abuse or in breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
